Meditation has many variations and each type of variation can be taught differently, but the goal is to achieve something greater- the peace of mind. Thru peace of mind, it is said that we can obtain a sixth sense, which can give us a better understand of our surroundings, others, and us. Through my performance, the act of belting out the same sentence, “Where are you?,” in a loop, is a mantra in my meditative process to reaching certain enlightenment. At a specific point of exhaustion, there is a “blank” state in which the mind is calm and collected.
